Dr. Monissa Solberg has dedicated her life to helping others with their psychiatric needs. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, learning from its prestigious medical school and conducting her residency training through the program. Her work within the field during her education aided Solberg’s acceptance into a forensic psychiatry fellowship, also through UCLA, where she aided mentally ill, incarcerated juveniles and adults within the justice system.
Today, Monissa Solberg is a board certified psychiatrist with areas of expertise such as community mental health and adolescent mental health. She also works within forensic psychiatry, specifically evaluations and expert witness testimony. She’s known for her empathy and caring demeanor as she treats patients with anxiety, panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia and other neuropsychiatric conditions. She treats kids and adults alike toward their treatment goals.
